A long rectangular plan with deep, shaded recesses flanking the main entry hall allows circulation for entertaining as many as forty guests. Tall cross gables mark the entry and allow light into the hall which serves as both a link and a divider between the private and formal areas of the home. Exterior features include deep, shading overhangs with stained clear-heart redwood siding and a limestone base.
